World of Women (WoW) Joins Tezos Ecosystem to Champion Gender Parity in Web3
World of Women (WoW), a pioneering force in digital art and NFTs advocating for women’s representation, has announced its strategic move to join the Tezos ecosystem.
This initiative aims to accelerate gender parity across web3 and create new opportunities for women in the digital era.
Founded on principles of inclusivity and empowerment, WoW aims to bridge the gender gap in web3 by addressing participation disparities and limited opportunities for women.
Despite constituting 37% of cryptocurrency holders, women make up only 27% of the web3 workforce and a mere 13% of startup founding teams, underscoring significant barriers in funding and recognition.
Kathleen Breitman, co-founder of Tezos, emphasized the importance of addressing funding disparities and providing transparent, decentralized access to resources for WoW’s network.

Shannon Snow, COO of World of Women, highlighted WoW’s mission to unite women across web3 and beyond, empowering them to lead in art, tech, and culture.
Powered by Tezos, WoW plans to expand its impact by connecting and supporting women leaders through blockchain-enabled infrastructure.
WoW will leverage Etherlink, an EVM-compatible Layer 2 blockchain on Tezos, to enable low-cost, reliable transactions.
Thomas Olivier, WoW’s CTO, noted the synergy between WoW’s vision and Tezos’s reliability in creating an economy that supports and propels women’s aspirations.
By joining Tezos, WoW aims to redefine possibilities for women in the digital age, offering avenues for funding, peer support, and transformative experiences.
