MIMOS Berhad Partners with Worldcoin Foundation and MyEG
MIMOS Berhad, the applied research and development arm of the Malaysian Government, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Worldcoin Foundation, Tools for Humanity (TFH), and MyEG, a leading e-government services provider.
This collaboration aims to integrate Worldcoin technology into Malaysia’s digital infrastructure.
The MoU seeks to leverage the Worldcoin protocol and TFH technologies to enhance ongoing and future work related to digital credentials.
As part of this initiative, new Worldcoin operations in Malaysia will offer individuals access to advanced humanness verifications using state-of-the-art iris imaging technology developed by TFH for the Worldcoin project.
The partnership also explores potential collaborations in joint orb manufacturing and bridging World Chain to Malaysia’s National Blockchain Infrastructure.

The Worldcoin Foundation will ensure that its technology remains open source and freely available, while TFH will provide technical expertise and support for both the Orb and World App.
MyEG will contribute by working on technical integrations and hardware deployment in support of MIMOS’s initiatives.
This agreement with the Malaysian Government follows recent Worldcoin launches in Europe and Latin America, with over 6.4 million people globally verifying their humanness through Worldcoin to date.
Earlier this year, the Worldcoin Foundation introduced a secure multi-party computation (SMPC) system, enhancing the privacy and security of biometric templates used for deduplication.
This cryptographic breakthrough allows each iris code to be divided into multiple secret components, enabling the verification of an individual’s uniqueness without revealing any personal information.
