Starbucks Ends “Odyssey Beta” NFT Rewards Program
Starbucks has announced the discontinuation of its “Odyssey Beta program”, a rewards initiative allowing loyal customers to collect non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The coffee giant revealed the news on its Starbucks Odyssey Official Discord channel, stating that the program would cease on March 31, with the Discord channel shuttering on March 20.
Expressing gratitude to the community for their engagement, Starbucks stated, “Starbucks Odyssey Beta has been an important step on our journey to create the future of Starbucks Rewards. As a community, you have been among the most engaged Odyssey members, and we greatly appreciate it.”

Teasing upcoming experiences for consumers in April, Starbucks hinted at exciting new member benefits, underscoring the role of consistent engagement and feedback in shaping future initiatives.
While members will retain access to their stamps, Starbucks plans to deliver a final benefit to Odyssey members who are level one and higher via email at the end of March.
Launched in September 2022, Starbucks Odyssey is an extension of Starbucks Rewards, leveraging Web3 technology to provide members with unique benefits and experiences.
Members engage in interactive activities known as “Journeys,” earning NFT “journey stamps” upon completion.

Each digital stamp holds a point value based on rarity, tradable among members within a marketplace secured on a blockchain.
Stamps can unlock various experiences, including virtual classes and exclusive events.
Brady Brewer, Starbucks’ executive vice president and chief marketing officer, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, stating, “Our innovative spirit and the desire to continuously exceed the expectations of our customers has led to the launch of Starbucks Odyssey.”
