Pioneering Digital Credentials at Penang Free School

Through Crypken’s Signature platform, PFS became Malaysia’s first school to offer tamper-proof digital credentials alongside traditional certificates, simplifying verification for students.

These certificates go beyond academic achievements, encompassing extracurriculars and other accomplishments, building a comprehensive profile of student skills and competencies.

“Many institutions still rely on paper, but interest in transitioning is growing. We’ve conducted numerous proofs of concept and engaged with multiple institutions expressing interest,” he shares.

Mr. Gopinath Mahendran, Crypken’s Head of Marketing and Sales, emphasizes the transformative potential: “Numerous universities are showing keen interest. We’re making significant strides. Following this initiative, employers won’t need to invest time in contacting universities anymore.

“The link is readily available, enabling them to verify candidates with just a simple click, a process that now takes only a few seconds.”
