Pudgy Toys, inspired by the brand’s NFT collection, first debuted in May 2023 and quickly became a top seller on Amazon, winning Toy Insider’s Top Summer Toy in the same year.
In September 2023, the line made its debut in 2,000 Walmart locations, further solidifying its position in the retail market.
The expanded line of Pudgy Toys will feature new Walmart exclusives, including five collectible Pudgy figurines and 25 Lil Pudgys mystery igloos with unique characters inside.
Each toy comes with a QR code that unlocks traits and collectibles within Pudgy World, an online game powered by the Layer 2 blockchain, zkSync Era.
Furthermore, all existing and upcoming Pudgy Toys are connected to pieces of NFT IP, ensuring that NFT holders continue to receive royalty payments through Pudgy Penguins’ licensing platform, OverpassIP.

The latest drop at Walmart exemplifies the royalties being passed along to Pudgy holders who have opted into licensing their NFTs for Pudgy Toys.

Walmart will carry 30 different Pudgy Toys, including Lil Pudgys Igloo Collectibles and Action Figures, ranging between $2.99 and $11.97.
