Futureverse and Animoca Brands, leaders in AI and open metaverse development respectively, have announced a strategic partnership fueled by a $5 million mutual investment.

This collaboration aims to merge Futureverse’s advanced metaverse technology stack with Animoca Brands’ vast Web3 gaming portfolio, fostering growth for both companies.

The partnership will focus on leveraging Futureverse’s suite of AI and metaverse tools within Animoca Brands’ extensive network of over 400 Web3 projects. This includes Futureverse’s:

• Futureverse Platform: Designed to seamlessly integrate Web2 accessibility with Web3 power, featuring tools like Pass (digital identity management), DOT (interoperable digital asset creation), and Swappables and Wearables Engine (for building interoperable in-experience assets).
• Generative AI Assets: Futureverse’s DOC (text-to-3D creation) and JEN (text-to-music) platforms offer innovative ways to craft digital content.

This collaboration extends beyond technology. Futureverse’s Readyverse, partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery to bring Ready Player One to the metaverse, will collaborate with Animoca Brands’ Mocaverse network to further enhance interoperability within the open metaverse.

The financial details involve a $5 million equity swap. Animoca Brands will invest in Futureverse based on a $754 million valuation, while Futureverse acquires shares in Animoca Brands.
