Avalanche, in collaboration with Alipay+, has introduced the Alipay+ D-store, an all-in-one digitalization solution, and Alipay+ partnered e-wallets to pioneer a Web3-enabled voucher program.
This innovative initiative targets Southeast Asian markets, offering discounts of up to 50% on milk teas from popular brands at over 500 shops, with an additional 2,000 shops in the pipeline.
The program, powered by an Avalanche Subnet managed by AvaCloud, represents the initial phase of a two-part proof-of-concept (POC).
The second phase aims to extend the program to over 100 million users across the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Chinese tourists visiting these countries.
Alipay+ D-store streamlines online store setup, offering a suite of tools for in-store processes, online selling, orders, marketing, and insights, with a quick 10-minute setup and zero upfront costs.
Local milk tea enthusiasts can participate by engaging in a mini-game within an Alipay+ partner e-wallet, receiving a Web3-enabled voucher upon completion, and redeeming it for discounted milk teas.
This POC serves as a platform for Alipay+ D-store to explore Web3 solutions, enhancing user interaction and revenue generation.
Moreover, the Web3-enabled voucher program presents opportunities for collaboration with brands utilizing digital collectibles and blockchain-powered features.
AvaCloud further enhances the initiative, providing industry-leading Web3 capabilities with minimal costs and time-to-launch for enterprises launching Subnets.
Notably, AvaCloud operates a “hybrid” model across AlibabaCloud and AWS in the POC, aiming to expand beyond AWS into a diverse set of cloud systems.
