In the exciting world of animation, where stories burst to life on screens, there’s a special group of creator you don’t want to miss!
These folks are known as Atrium AKA the brilliant minds behind the viral sensation MeetQuack that’s taking social media storm.
Continuing from our previous interview with Anaroth, Head of Community at Atrium, this week, in Stories from the Community, XGA brings you the story of MeetQuack and the backbone behind these adorable ducklings.
You may have seen these ducklings on your Instagram Explore page or TikTok For You page. This duckling duo – Quack and Lola – is the brainchild of Atrium, a decentralized production platform.
The same team has been working on various animation projects, including The Rise of Blus: A Nouns Movie, and Master Pengu which is based on the popular NFT IP, Pudgy Penguins, that is sold at various retailers worldwide.

But little did we know, the hands that brought magic to these adorable ducklings are nothing less than connoisseurs in their industry.
The MeetQuack team is primarily led by 3D Print Guy, known for his work with renowned entities such as Pixar, Netflix, and HBO.
Notably, he contributed to one of Pixar’s most tear-jerking films, “Up”, and gained viral acclaim for his three-part Among Us series on YouTube, which has amassed over 30 million views.
Additionally, the team includes Blizzy, a young and prodigious animator who began creating animations during his high school sophomore year.
Blizzy has also garnered thousands of followers on social media for his remarkable works of art in animation.
Despite the team being relatively small, unlike other production houses that sort and delegate tasks to different departments, it’s undeniable that the team is very passionate about creating relatable animations.
This is evidenced by MeetQuack, which started less than a year ago but has already produced significant results and garnered a large following.
“It's truly remarkable what a small team can achieve.”
Anaroth
Quack’s journey only started around June last year. But ever since, the page that animates the lighthearted stories on a couple of adorable ducklings has accumulated over 2 million followers across social media, with one of its videos trending among the most-viewed Instagram reels of all-time.
Step1: make banger after banger animations 52 times over 6 months, until one video goes so viral that it has a viewcount of 75% the population of America.

The way it became a viral sensation came to a point that this very page has even caught the attention of supermodel Bella Hadid, who’s seen following the page and regularly engages with Quack’s reels on Instagram.

For Anaroth, it’s almost surreal to see one of Atrium’s brainchild blow up to the point it becomes a global viral sensation. In fact, it has also built a loyal following base that stays waiting for new content coming out and even closely follows its storyline and ducklings’ antics.
“This kind of resonance is what many crypto projects strive for, and it’s happening through adorable characters like Quack.”
Anaroth
“People simply adore Quack. They eagerly anticipate each new adventure that Quack goes on,” he says.
“Not forgetting, the dedication and attention to detail shown by the important trio – 3D Print Guy, Blizzie, and Supriyo Roy (Atrium’s co-founder) – is one of the reasons why MeetQuack has achieved success in such a short time,” states Anaroth.
In reality, creating an animation demands thoughtful consideration, particularly when choosing the traits that would compliment and complete each character.
The Quacks were originally bootstrapped by Atrium for 6 months and then later given a @nounsdao grant in January.

“Why a duck, you might wonder?” teases Anaroth.
“Well, we wanted them to be cute!”
Anaroth
Most importantly, the Atrium team definitely had an intention in making MeetQuack be viewed as something that’s lighthearted and easy to catch attention even at the first glimpse for all ages. In short, simplicity, joy, and relatability for all.
“I swear, sometimes I relate better to Lola than I do with Quack. Like, I remember the Christmas video where Lola is all decked out with her wrapping paper, super excited – that’s totally me. And then Quack was just dumping stuff and putting something in there. Well, those are my friends,” he jokes.
Wrapping up the interview, Anaroth believes that part of MeetQuack’s success is definitely driven by the consistency by the people at Atrium, who continuously tries to juice out great storylines to continuously complement the adventurous journey of Quack and Lola.
“Consistency is key. While you might aim for a viral moment, staying consistent is what leads to success.”
Anaroth
For him, success also isn’t determined by team size, but instead, by connecting with individuals who share the same vision.
“You don’t necessarily need a large group. Instead, it’s about finding the right people who share your vision and help your scale effectively,” he concludes.
Now that you’ve known the story behind MeetQuack, don’t forget to check out their official page on Instagram and Atrium’s website.
