Alfa-Bank and Alfa-Capital Management Company have collaborated to introduce the pioneering digital financial asset (CFA) named “Evergreen Portfolio”, marking a milestone in the Russian financial market.

The CFA, built on exchange-traded mutual investment funds, will be issued on Alfa-Bank’s A-Token platform, the largest platform in the Russian CFA market.

The “Evergreen Portfolio” CFA offers exposure to four asset classes within the Russian Federation: stocks, bonds, gold, and money market instruments.

With these diverse assets, the strategy aims to maintain stable dynamics even during market stress, providing investors with attractive returns potential while mitigating volatility effects.

Vladimir Voeykov, Director of Large and Medium-Sized Businesses at Alfa-Bank, expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, “The Alfa-Bank A-Token platform has become the leader of the CFA market for the year – almost half of the volume of transactions in 2023 is on our account.”

Digital financial assets offer streamlined transaction flows and automation, reducing costs for both investors and asset issuers. The “Evergreen Portfolio” CFA is accessible to qualified investors with a 6-month investment period, providing innovative investment opportunities.

Alfa-Bank’s A-Token platform integrates directly with Alfa-Bank, facilitating instant transactions, settlements, and tax agent functions.

As of now, Alfa-Bank has issued 86 digital financial assets (CFA) totaling 37.4 billion rubles, accounting for approximately 45% of Russia’s total volume.
