Luxury giant LVMH and Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite and Unreal Engine, have announced a groundbreaking partnership at the Viva Technology show.
This strategic alliance aims to revolutionise the creative pipeline of LVMH’s Maisons and deliver immersive product discovery experiences to customers like never before.
The partnership will enable LVMH and its Maisons to leverage Epic’s cutting-edge 3D creation tools for virtual fitting rooms, fashion shows, 360 product carousels, augmented reality, digital twins, and more more.
By incorporating Unreal Engine, Reality Capture, Twinmotion, and MetaHuman technology, LVMH is poised to unlock significant growth opportunities and strengthen its digital presence.
This collaboration aligns perfectly with LVMH’s forward-thinking spirit, which has always focused on updating its offerings to engage with new practices while respecting its timeless assets and heritage.
LVMH Group Managing Director Toni Belloni expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We have always been committed to innovations with the potential to bring our customers new experiences. Interactive games, which have developed into a full-fledged cultural phenomenon, are a perfect example.”
Bill Clifford, VP of Unreal Engine at Epic Games, shared his enthusiasm, saying, “We are excited to accelerate the Group’s adoption of Unreal Engine, Reality Capture, Twinmotion, and MetaHuman technology, and help LVMH’s global brands engage with customers through immersive digital experiences.”
